AMD intros five new CPUs

Today AMD has officially launched five new desktop CPUs aimed at different levels consumers they are
  1. High-end quad-core processorPhenom II X4 910e, at the same time also a energy saving processor.
  2. AMD's fastest dual-core processor Phenom II X2 555 BlackEdition
  3. Main stream quad-core processor Athlon II X4 635
  4. Triple-core processor Athlon II X3 440, and
  5. Low-end dual-core processor Athlon II X2 255

Below are the details of the processors such as clock speed,L2 cache,L3 cache,Thermal Design Power(TDP) and other specifications.

Next, let see the performance of these new CPUs compare with others

Standby and full load power consumption:

Beside the CPUs above,AMD will soon introduce the Phenom II X4 975 Black Edition, clocked at 3.6GHz and the 2.8GHz Phenom II X4 820. The company will also launch new 800 series chipsets in a few months, but still not sure the proper date.

Conclusion:

In my impression that, AMD's CPUs are always have their superiority in the mid/low-end level market and cost-effective is the main factor to attract consumers.
Compare to the current Intel's cheapest quad-core processor I5-750 with the price USD196,and now consumers can get a AMD Athlon II X4 635 with the price if USD119.
