Last time i posted about the news of Asus is going to launch a Mars-like graphic card.This time. i would like to introduce the Asus ROG Mars which launched at year 2009.
Asus ROG Mars is actually a dual-Nvidia's GeForce GTX 285 Graphics Card with 275x115x48mm volume and only limited 1000 unit available,each of the card will be marked its own unique number . Now, with Asus ROG Mars, computer DIY fancier can realize their dream to process GTX285 triple SLI or even Quad SLI easily.Asus launch this card to defeat the GTX295 and become the NVidia's fastest GPU.According to Asus, the Mars's heat sink is 65% larger and thermal efficiency is 29% higher larger than the Nvidia GeForce GTX295.

As i said, there every single unit of Asus ROG Mars will have a unique code. The Mars with 001/1000 code is now keep by Asus.
2x 8pin power connectors
The internal structure of Mars is just like a hamburger, a radiator is in between of 2 PCB which are implementing internal SLI using a connector (in red circle), and 2 DVI output port in red square.

Power consumption:
Obviously，people who are intend to purchase Asus ROG Mars must prepare a high power output power supply for it. The full load power consumption of Mars is nearly 2x of GTX285 & ATi Radeon HD5870's full load power consumption.
